Polarvita was founded in Norway, and the founder has collaborated with several renowned Norwegian pharmaceutical companies for over twenty years. They are dedicated to the development of the Nordic and Arctic regions, conducting joint research to harness the unique natural products of the area for a variety of health supplements that are distributed worldwide, promoting the health concepts of the Nordic people. Emphasizing simplicity and a reverence for nature, and gaining trust through quality and reputation, are at the core of our mission.

The Nordic region boasts excellent water quality, but the cold climate is not conducive to agriculture, leading to limited consumption of fruits and vegetables by locals. The primary diet consists of seal meat, salmon, and other seafood, yet the incidence of cardiovascular diseases is lower compared to other regions. In 1972, Dr. Dyerberg published a medical article on the correlation between seal oil and this phenomenon, noting that both seal oil and fish oil contain various types of OMEGA-3, including EPA, DPA, and DHA, which are particularly effective in preventing and treating various cardiovascular diseases and hypertension.

Seal resources are extremely scarce, and in order to maintain the ecological balance of the oceans, the Canadian government implemented restrictions on seal hunting from 1994. Given the limited production of seal oil but its superior nutritional value compared to fish oil, it naturally became a more precious health supplement.
